Written instructions for (both) The TWISTER Fence Tool ® and The BANTAM Fence Tool ®

Installing and repairing wire fences with the Tool:

  1. Before placing wire fence T-post tie around T-post:

    • Insert the tie’s short arm into the Tool's opening. Bend it inward until short arm is parallel with tie (keeps it tight on fence wire).

    • Holding the tie with its short arm to your left, bend the short arm downward slightly (giving it a slight angle keeps it off the T-post, and provides more room for using the Tool easily.)

  2. Stand inside the fence, with the tie ends facing you:

    • Place tie around T-post (short arm to your left).

    • Hook short arm over the fence wire.

  3. With long arm of the tie to your right:

    • Rest the entire long arm of the tie on top of fence wire.

    • Insert the long end of the tie into the Tool’s opening.

    • Brace threads of the Tool on fence wire while PUSHING the Tool FORWARD and beginning the wrapping process.

    • Continue twisting, making sure to keep a slight pressure on the tie (to prevent it from sliding out of the tool.) The tie will automatically be released after wrap is completed.

  4. To firmly secure tie in place:

    • Twist the short end of tie the same way you did the long one, except in the OPPOSITE direction (PULL DOWN TOWARD you), until the Tool releases it. This ensures a tight, secure attachment.
